Emilio Ferruzzi (Venice 1995). Studying classical languages at school, i always cultivated drawing on the side, a passion that has been passed to me by my grandfather the venetian painter Bobo Ferruzzi and by my father, Roberto Ferruzzi, a gallerist.
Since when it came the moment for me to use oil paints and pigments, i understood that i couldn’t loose the passion in two lifetimes.
I hope to give back to the world the light that painting brings in to my life on a daily basis.
Colorful Harmony
In my abstract painting journey process, which allows me to explore combinations of colors without the limits that i sometimes have to deal with when i paint figurative subjects, i am concerned with utilizing the widest amount of different colors without loosing harmony.
“Another Carnival” is one of the best examples of that colorful harmony; it reminds me of carnival, it reminds me of a kid throwing confetti: i see it as pure freedom. And that’s how i felt when i painted it.
